Longaberger Event? We still have vacancies! Call us for availability!
Dresden Ohio's Newest Bed and Breakfast!
We invite you to visit us and share our home, where we have created a quiet sanctuary away from the stressors of everyday life. Please enjoy a "wee bit O'Ireland" as you brows e our web site. We will try to make you feel as if you are really there when you come for a stay.
From the beautifully appointed bedrooms and relaxing baths to the comfortable Gathering Room and the cozy Reading Nook, Abberley House will refresh your mind and spirit.
The bedrooms boast fine linens and furnishings and the home is filled with antiques, as well as a glimpse here and there of our beloved Irish heritage.
There are many activities and events in the surrounding area for you to enjoy, but if you’d rather
indulge in doing nothing at all, we can accommodate you there as well. Our home has a covered front porch
and a large back deck on which to while away the day and enjoy the peace and quiet. Abberley House also has
many cozy areas in which to sit and snuggle up with a good book, play a game, converse with new-found
friends or to take a much-needed rest.
We are just minutes away from Longaberger Homestead and downtown Dresden and its
wonderful shops. We are approximately 20 minutes from Coshocton and the Historical Roscoe Village and
Monticello III canal boat, as well as Zanesville’s pottery and antique shops, The Wilds and the Lorena
Sternwheeler riverboat.
We are also only 30 minutes away from Newark/Licking County and the Works Museum,
Coco Key Indoor Water Park, The Midland Theatre and Heisey Glass Museum and are approximately
60 minutes away from Ohio’s Amish Country.
We have put together many exciting and unique packages and tours…please check them out on our SPECIALS page! We also offer a Saturday Afternoon Irish Tea with homemade scones, shortbread or Irish soda bread and of course “tae”– which means “tea” in Gaelic.
We look forward to making your stay with us a memorable, comfortable and stress-free experience.
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
SLAINTE!
Your Innkeeper Hosts,
